Vikaas

A day care scheme, it aims to hone interpersonal and vocational skills of the beneficiaries such that they have more opportunities available when they grow up. It is extended to children above 10. The facility can also be used by parents or caregivers when they need to attend to some work and there is no one to look after the kid. 

NGOs that house Vikaas centres are expected to have a batch size upto 30 that can be stretched to 39, wherein children from below poverty line/ low income group families and those from economically better off backgrounds. 

The fee charged for their services to students from different backgrounds can be determined by the organisation. Centre are encouraged to call in experts like paediatricians and activists to reach out to and enrol  more PWDs.
